The iStill 250 is a fully automated still that enables the distiller to make both taste rich as well as pure products. With the iStill 250 you can make whiskey, gin, brandy, rum, and vodka. You can choose pot distillation or pure distillation, stripping as well as finishing, and you can dial in automated cuts for heads, hearts, and tails.
The iStill 250 has a 75 gallons boiler that’s electrically heated. Phased power (204 – 240v) at 80 amps is needed. The unit comes with power management (anything from 6 to 12 KW), carbon filter (to clean up your vodka), glass catalyst, gin infusion chamber, and easy lifting system. The packed column is managed automatically to give you maximum control. The system integration, control systems, and highly advanced column means the iStill 250 can just as easily produce a whiskey at 62% as it can produce a vodka at 96%. You dial in what you want, the automation makes sure you get it … over and over again.
The iStill 250 is delivered in a crate and is shipped by airplane and truck to the doorstep of your distillery. For the most part it is pre-assembled. Final assembly, connection to water and electricity, and prior to run testing usually takes 2 hours. An assembly instruction is provided, as is Skype Support.
